George Foreman Challenges Steven Seagal To Ten Rounds Of Hand-To-Hand Combat, No Weapons!
Source - On Monday, the 68-year-old boxing legend used Twitter to challenge the 65-year-old action-movie star to a 10-round fight in Las Vegas.
He later clarified it would be “hand to hand” combat only, with “no weapons” allowed, and suggested the battle could be broadcast on pay per view. With fellow boxer Floyd Mayweather earning a reported $100 million from his bout with UFC star Conor McGregor, it could mean a handsome payday for Big George.
Out of left field! My money’s on George, obviously. He’s has the mental edge. Not to mention about one-hundred pounds on the movie star turned cyborg turned Asian turned Russian that is Steven Seagal. The only way he’d be able to win is if weapons were involved but George already laid out the rules. “Hand-to-hand combat only.” Smart move considering Steven can shoot the same hole in a target, twice!
My only concern is George’s diet. He’s been the face of red meat for twenty years. Which I’m sure has wreaked havoc on both his stamina and his colon. He’ll need to lighten things up if he wants to last a full ten rounds. Especially considering his opponent’s grueling training regimen of chasing bad guys and dancing with government slaves.
You can see he’s sporting his signature kimono as well. A look he’s donned since the eighties. He uses it as a way to racially confuse his opponents. He does the same thing with du-rags. It has a high success rate but again, George has the mental edge.
I’d like for Steven to accept the offer but chances are he hasn’t even seen the tweet. He has each one written in invisible ink and sent to his Mongolian lair via carrier pigeon. Once they arrive he urinates on the paper and holds it over an open flame to reveal the tweet. It’s a process that takes weeks but he swears by it.
As much as I’d love to see two full-sized men go at it in the ring, I know they won’t. I’m sure the fiftieth generation Foreman Grill is right around the corner and his tweet was nothing more than a PR play. All we can do now is wait until Mayweather blows his “billion” to get another fight. Sad, but at least there were some good tweets.
